Akila got tonsured at Oppiliyappan Temple, Kumbakonam. Here she is with her father.

Feb 2007:

Akila and I on a dinghy (பரிசல் in தமிழ்[Tamil] ) crossing the cauvery river for a picnic at Muthahathi (Beemeshwari) of Karnataka.
Akila wanted to wet her legs in the Cauvery river seeing her brother doing it.
Akila at Madhu's school sports day.
Here she found a place to sit in our TV cabinet.

Dec 2006: Part 3

Akila wants to sit on a tree on seeing her brother doing it.
Cute little monkey on the tree - It must have given a different feeling for her - she was so very happy to get a broader view.

This time it is the birthday of Akila's brother, Madhu. Madhu with his friends around and Akila enjoying the party.

All of us had been to Mysore Zoo. Akila is so happy to see the giraffe and she wants to show that to me.
